The New Bern and Oriental Woman’s Club ArtFests
This year, several of the students from our Art-in-Focus
class entered different art projects in the New Bern Woman’s Club ArtFest, which
included many different art projects from all across Craven County. The
projects were assigned to categories, and each category was judged
individually. After the judging was completed, the Woman’s Club had an Art Show
at the Craven—Pamlico—Carteret Regional Library in January 2011, where all the
projects were displayed for the public. Six children from Focus Therapy placed
in either First, Second, or Third place. The two First Place winners will go on
to compete in higher levels of the ArtFest. Check back soon to see how far the
winners went!
